Florida State Seminoles Land 4-Star WR Sean Green

Florida State Seminoles have landed a commitment from 4-star wide receiver Sean Green, a Georgia native who attends Camden County in Kingsland.

The Seminoles beat Georgia to his commitment, first reported by 247Sports, after Green visited the program over the weekend.

What happened?

Florida State football has added its second 4-star prospect in as many days, with Green joining 4-star running back Jayden Miles from Louisiana's Baton Rouge Catholic.

Green had 41 catches for 572 yards and nine touchdowns in his junior season for a Camden County team that went 6-4 last season.

Why it matters for Florida State Seminoles

The addition of Green to the Class of 2027 brings the Seminoles' total commitments to 10, with the class now ranking 46th in the nation in 247Sports rankings.

The Seminoles' 2027 recruiting class includes Sean Green, Jayden Miles, Gregory Baston, Jernard Albright, Eric Vaulx, Anthony Cavallaro, Dayon Cooper, Jemari Forman, Logan Flaherty, and Connor Winn.

What comes next?

The Seminoles will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for their next game against New Mexico State Aggies on 2026-08-29.

Liam Rooney, Florida State athletics reporter, covers the Seminoles for the Tallahassee Democrat, and can be contacted via email at LRooney@gannett.com or on Twitter @__liamrooney.

The Seminoles' recruiting efforts have been paying off, with Green's commitment being a significant addition to the team.
