Florida State Seminoles secured a verbal commitment from four-star running back Jayden Miles for its 2027 class.
The commitment marks the second in two days for the Seminoles, bringing their 2027 class total to nine players.
Florida State football continued to build momentum in its 2027 recruiting class Monday, landing Miles of Baton Rouge Catholic.
Miles committed less than two weeks after taking an official visit to Tallahassee.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect chose the Seminoles over several Power Four programs, including Ohio State, Texas Tech and LSU.
With help from running backs coach Kam Martin and offensive assistant Gabe Fertitta, coach Mike Norvell added another blue-chip prospect to FSU’s 2027 class.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Miles is the No. 15 running back nationally and the No. 11 overall prospect in Louisiana.
FSU now has nine commitments, including three-star linebacker Jernard Albright from Effingham County High School in Georgia.
The Seminoles will look to continue their recruiting momentum ahead of their next game against New Mexico State Aggies on 2026-08-29.
And with Miles on board, the Seminoles are building a strong foundation for their 2027 class.
But the recruiting process is far from over, and coach Norvell will look to add more talent to the roster.
So the Seminoles will continue to work hard to secure more commitments and build a strong team for the upcoming season.
The current commitments include Jayden Miles, RB, 4-star, Baton Rouge Catholic, and Gregory Baston, LB, 3-star, Lee County.
Other commitments include Jernard Albright, LB, 3-star, Effingham County, and Eric Vaulx, DL, 3-star, Lake Cormorant.
The Seminoles are also looking forward to their next game, which will be a great opportunity to showcase their skills.
